This experience includes P&L leadership of over 30 Co-Brand and Private Label brand-name clients, for large Franchise ($10B+ ANR) Portfolios to smaller Corporate and Dealer portfolios across over a dozen industries.

Our Team
He was most recently the Chief Decision Management Officer (CDMO) for the $4B Specialty Partner Group of Portfolios. He was responsible for acquisition & existing cardmember strategy and portfolio pricing. Specialty partners consists of 25 clients across multiple verticals. E.g. Shell, ExxonMobil, Brooks Brothers, Tractor Supply, Sunoco, Goodyear & American Airlines. Prior to that he was Head of Analytics for the $9B Best Buy Card relationship and previously led the centralized pricing team for all of Citi Retail Services $43B portfolios.​

Wale Cole has over 25 years of experience in consumer credit, data analytics & advisory services, and is now the Principal for Carmel Advisory LLC. He is a visionary leader with extensive P&L experience and a strategic thought leader with a proven track record of delivering key revenue-generating initiatives, portfolio analytics, marketing spends optimization & managing strategic partner relationships.​​
Prior to starting Retail Credit Advisors alongside Phil, he was a Director of Decision Management within Citi Retail services, the Division of Citi’s North American Consumer Business that provides consumer & commercial credit card products, services, and point of sale solutions to retailers across the U.S.​
Prior to joining Citi, Wale worked in Finance within the Credit business of Sears, Roebuck & Co as well as at Norwest Financial and KeyBank USA.​ In these companies, he held a variety of roles spanning Business & Portfolio analytics. Wale holds a B.S in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from the Sawyer School of Management, Suffolk University in Boston, MA.​
The Branded Cards unit is comprised of their Proprietary Co-Branded Citi Cards such as Double Cash and Premier, as well as the American Airlines and Costco Co-Branded Cards.​

He was also the portfolio finance lead for the Specialty Partners Group (SPG) of portfolios within Citi Retail Services, closely managing the financial performance for $4B of credit card receivables. SPG includes 25+ clients across multiple verticals, with name-brand companies such as American Airlines, Brooks Brothers, Costco, ExxonMobil, Ford, Goodyear, Office Depot, Staples, and Tractor Supply.​

Before joining Citi, Phil spent time as a financial analyst in the Travel and Financial Services sectors, while obtaining his MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.​
Phil Vaynshteyn has over 15 years of diverse Finance experience spanning the consumer credit, retail, and travel sectors and he is now the Owner of Quiver Consulting LLC. He is a proven leader who uses his portfolio CFO experience to bring a collaborative, balanced, and thoughtful approach to solving business challenges from a financial perspective, with customer focus always at the forefront.​

Prior to starting Retail Credit Advisors alongside Wale, Phil worked for Citigroup, in a variety of Finance roles within the consumer lending space. In his most recent role, Phil was the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for their Branded Cards business unit, managing $85B of receivables that generated over $9B in annual revenues.
